About

I’m Stephanie Rydle, an abstract and figurative artist with a deep love for interior design. A Nesting Place is my way of sharing the interiors, objects, and artistry that inspire me—and celebrating the incredible work of designers, artisans, and makers along the way. For me, design is about more than just how a space looks. It’s about the stories behind the pieces, the unexpected details, and the way thoughtful design can make a home feel warm, interesting, and personal. Through A Nesting Place, I hope to highlight not only my own perspective on interiors but also the creativity and craftsmanship of others who bring beauty into the world.
My philosophy
I believe that interiors tell a story—not just about the space itself but about the people who live in it. The right pieces can bring warmth, joy, and meaning to a home, and it’s my hope that A Nesting Place inspires you to create spaces that feel uniquely yours.
What matters to me
- Thoughtful Design: I carefully select pieces that balance beauty and practicality, each with its own story to tell.
- Warm Minimalism: I’m drawn to clean lines, natural materials, and details that add depth and character.
- Artistic Expression: As an artist, I’m inspired by objects and furniture that feel like works of art in themselves.
- Celebrating Makers: I love shining a light on artisans and creators whose work brings soul and craftsmanship to interiors.
-
Livable Beauty: To me, good design is both aspirational and functional—it should make everyday life feel extraordinary.
